I am an associate professor in the Department of Government at the University of Texas at Austin (my undergraduate alma mater). I received my Ph.D. from Stanford University's Department of Political Science.
My primary areas of study are American politics and statistical methodology. Substantively, I am interested in elections, public opinion, Congress and the courts. My methodological interests include latent traits modeling, Bayesian statistics and hierarchical modeling.
